Only public videos can be processed, which also protects the privacy of anyone who posts privately. Save videos for your own archive or offline viewing. Check with the original poster before reusing their footage anywhere public — the content still belongs to whoever uploaded it.
Tips for the best result
Facebook sometimes serves different quality levels depending on your connection when the video was viewed. So if the first result looks lower-resolution than expected, try copying the link again from a fresh page load. Videos inside Stories aren't supported here since they're designed to expire and aren't part of the regular video catalog.
Is it safe to use?

When a video was originally uploaded in HD, that's the quality you'll get back; when the uploader only had SD available —. Common with older posts or videos shared from a slow connection — that's the ceiling regardless of your own internet speed. Videos shared in Messenger
